The Livermore family immigrated to the North Island of New Zealand in 1820 and was one of the first pioneers to develop New Zealand.In the early days of relatively poor immigrants, the Livemore family had a good friendship with the local Maori clan.Friendly Maori provide a lot of herbal support to white immigrants who lack medicine.Meanwhile, the Livemore family began to contact and seriously study these magical herbs.

In 1860, the Maori War broke out.The Livemore family has provided the British Army with a large number of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory herbal extracts.Many injured soldiers were prevented from amputating due to infection.After the Maori uprising was suppressed, the Livemore family was approved by the colonial government to develop the Taranaki area because of the help in the war.So the Family gains stable economic income,and started research on the production and sale of Maori traditional herbal related products.

In 1942, Daniel Livemore, the eldest son join the Australian New Army of the British, died in North Africa.At that time, the old Livemore was grieved and got a serious illness.The family’s second son, Dylan Livemore, was only 11 years old, and the family business was stagnated.

In 1956, Dylan Livemore graduated from Canterbury College,Went home to take over the family business.Because of his chemical discipline,Dylan decide to take an unusual step,to Purify the herbal formula passed down from the family.And try adding it to the emerging product shampoo.After several experiments and changes to the formula, the first generation of Livemore Medicinal Shampoo, which is based on sodium lauryl sulfate and added Manuka tree extract, is on the market.

In 1990, after years of accumulation and development,Mr. Dylan Livemore began trying to use amino acid surfactants as a binder and adding a variety of different plant extracts, hoping to achieve different functional aspects of the product.
